Wedding Procedures


Suggested Wedding Procedure


  1. M/C welcomes guests and may cover housekeeping rules, calls upon some one to say grace ( usually only if a priest or religious figure is present at the reception)
  2. Grace
  3. Toast to the Queen after entrée if applicable not common these days
  4. Cut wedding cakes if served as dessert ( essential to cut at this point of the reception )

After main course

  1. M C announces speeches will begin
  2. Toast to Bride & Groom announced by M C
  3. The Groom responds with toast to bridesmaids
  4. Best man responds on behalf of bridesmaids
  5. Toast to brides parents announced by M C
  6. Toast to grooms parents announced by M C
  7. Toast to absent friends
  8. Reading of emails facsimile etc

After dessert

  1. Cutting of cake
  2. Bridal Waltz
  3. Bouquet & Garter
  4. M C announces Bride & Grooms departure form a circle.



Our In house Rules

Smoking on the balcony only, 5 meters from any door.

Strictly no glassware permitted on the Dance floor.

No drinking or smoking outside front entrance
